Professor Hickie is a Professor of Psychiatry, Co-Director of Health and Policy, Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney and Scientific Advisor for Innowell Pty Ltd. He has led major public health and health services developments in Australia, particularly focusing on early intervention for young people with depression, suicidal thoughts and behaviours and complex mood disorders. He is active in the development through codesign, implementation and continuous evaluation of new health information and personal monitoring technologies to drive highly-personalized and measurement-based care.

Steve Duke is a leading expert in mental health innovation and the author of the popular industry newsletter, The Hemingway Report. Steve’s insight into mental health is globally recognised, with his work read by thousands of mental health innovators and policy makers around the world. After a career as a McKinsey consultant and startup exec, Steve decided to dedicate his career to mental health. He now shares data-backed analysis and thoughtful insight on the commercial and scientific trends shaping mental health, bringing a unique lens to the industry, rooted in deep-research, analysis and storytelling. His mission is also personal: Steve lived with OCD as a kid and never forgot that experience - or the hope that came from his recovery.
